2001-2002 : Ph-D candidate at MIT in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering
- Second semester : Research Assistantship for Pr Y.Fink's group of research on Photonic crystals and fibers - Designing a tunable reflector by applying stress.
- First semester : Research Assistantship for Pr Chiang's group of research on ceramics - Improving a magnetic shape memory alloy.
2000-2001 : Master candidate at the University Henti Poincaré (Nancy I - France)
- September : Master " Physics and Chemestry of Matter and Materials " (Final rank 2nd)
- From May to September : research work realised at the Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) on 4-id (beam line supervised by G.Srajer) sponsored by Pr S.Sinha group's of research (from the University of California in San Diego) - Study of the magnetic coherence in Er/Dy superlattices by X-Ray magnetic diffraction with polarization analysis
- March : research work realised at the Institute Laue Langevin (ILL, Grenoble France) - Study of the magnetic moment of Sm and of the magnetic coherence in Sm/Nd superlattices by Thermal Neutron Scattering.
1998-2000 : Engineering student at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy (Nancy, France), a leading European Graduate School for advanced engineering studies (in the top ten). Majors in Materials Science and Engineering and Numerical Simulation.
1998 : General universitary studies grade in Mathematics Computer Science and Applications in Sciences(DEUG MIASS) with honours (Equivalent to A-Levels)
1996-1998 : Preparation for admission to French Engineering Gaduate Schools at the Lycée Janson De Sailly (Paris XVIème),
1996 : Baccalauréat S (high school leaving certificate, malor in sciences) with honours (Equivalent to A-Levels)

WORK PLACEMENTS:
Three-month placement at IRSID (Siderurgical Institute of Research, France) - Designing a lubrification system for the study of the plate-out characteristics of different oils used for steel rolling.
Six-week placement at the Renault car factory (France) : production of engines and of gear boxes in 1998. 3×8 .I was part of a team of workers to help them in their every-day work.

French : mother tongue
English : fluent, Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) of the university of Cambridge + TOEFL passed the 10th of January 2000 : 263 pts on the computer based exam
Spanisch : fluent, Diploma Superior de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) of the university of Salamanca (Instituto Cervantes)
German : beginner (studied for one year and a half)
